Lesson N.12: Hinting at the possessive case- Conversation

In this lesson we will have  first approach to the genitive case, with reference to places and how to express  "there is" and "there are" through the word " VAR".
This word is normally used to  express the verb "To have" that, it's worth of reminding here, has no equivalent in Turkish.

Listen to this passage and pay attention to the possessive case (underlined words) the memorize new words.

"Perapalas Oteli Tepebaşı'nda. O çok eski bir otel ama büyük,tarihi  ve temiz bir otel. Tek kişilik ve iki kişilik odaları var. Büyük bir lokantası da var.

Otelin sağında Amerikan Konsolosluğu,solunda büyük bir araba parkı var.Araba parkında çok taksi,araba, minibüs ve otobüs var. Otelin önünde bir taksi var.Taksinin içinde bir şoför,bir kadın,bir adam ve iki çocuk var"
